All employees, dependents, and retirees on the County’s medical insurance plan have cost-free access to the Employee Health Center. The Employee Health Center offers: Primary care Acute and urgent care Prescription dispensing Labs performed onsite Digital x-rays Stress tests and EKGs Health risk assessments
Charlotte County is dedicated to the professional development of its employees and offers tuition reimbursement as a way to foster that development. All full-time employees, having completed their initial orientation period, are eligible to be reimbursed up to half of their tuition costs at an accredited college or university.
Our Wellness at Work program aims to promote a positive environment that engages all employees and families in the pursuit of health and wellness. Programs offered include tobacco cessation, incentives to participate in local walk/run events, and individual and team challenges throughout the year.
