The Charlotte County Human Services Department empowers individuals and families to achieve stability by connecting them with vital programs and services. Through partnerships and a whole person-centered approach, we serve residents across all stages of life with compassion and integrity. This building is more than just four walls; it's a "Hub of Hope" when people need it most.

Family Services Center: 5 Years of Hope
For five years, the Family Services Center in Charlotte County has been a place where people can find more than services—they can find connection, support, and hope. With more than 37 community organizations working together under one roof, the Center helps individuals and families navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether someone arrives unsure where to begin or simply needs someone to listen, these doors connect them with people and resources ready to help.
Five years ago, the people of Charlotte County invested in their community through a 1% Local Option Sales Tax. Today, that investment can be seen in the connections made, the resources provided, and the lives touched at the Family Services Center. This is what community looks like.
